As the unholy trinity of Justin Vølus, Nicholas Turner and Jared Moran continue to create music together, their cohesion and chemistry continues to carry their musical outputs to new heights.
Their collective project Psionic Madness is a perfect example of this cohesion and chemistry, with its third full-length release Warhead Crucifix showcasing the refinement and development of the trio’s sound.
This release features some of the most complex and powerful instrumental and vocal offerings to date and will undoubtably be referred to as the project’s most polished, expansive and mature release thus far.
As with previous albums the project will bring to mind Gorguts and Ulcerate, but there’s so much more on display here. This is a fresh take on deathgrind and one that I’m sure will be welcomed by most fans of the genre.
